Default A new body snatcher from Argentina

Not sure if anyone has seen or heard much of Brian Carlos Castano (3-0, 2) but he's a very exciting young Argentinian who loves digging to the body. There is a clip of him and an in depth profile here Brian Carlos Castano - Boxing Prospects though if you're a fan of body punchers he'll be worth following. Shame most of, if not all of his fights for the next few years will be limited to taking place on TYC Sports in Argentina (thankfully it seems likely they'll be on youtube a day or two after they happen).

He is ok, do not see a future McCallum though.

To be fair to the kid he's now had 3 fights, all of which have been televised. He's shown good body punching (Something very rare in a novice) and he's still very young. Sure he's not a new Mike but he's certainly one to be keeping an eye on.

Just learned he's fighting in the WSB, he looked incredible when he last fought in that. Genuinely exciting young fighter who seems to love the body.

I have been excited about many fighters thinking they would be world class when they fight at the lower levels but then do not make the grade later on. Hope he makes it for you.

TBF the WSB isn't exactly full of chumps, though the Algerian I saw him against certainly wasn't anything great. Castano's win over Roldan was good though
