He’s an athlete that fights, not a fighter who is an athlete. He is who he is, too many bad habits for too long to fix.
He could improve, but it’s not like he’s going to turn into a fundamentally sound fighter

teo should get rid of his dad. but i saw a clip of teo asking himself if he still has it. teo is mentally shook. a change could be good. teo needs to be willing to change

Lopez has been pretty successful doing things as he does them. Good luck being the new trainer going in and trying to change those habits. And his father is going to always be the loudest voice in the room, unless you kill him, and maybe even if you do. Any 'new' trainer would have to be six types of foolish to put himself in that position.

Teo has so much he has to retool. He reminds of a guy who gets evicted but stalls to the last day and insist the neighbors pack his stuff. His Father is so engrained, literally in front of his highs and lows at this point that I'm not certain Teo has the ability to pave an independent road out. And that's what he needs. End of the day it's all on Lopez, he's a grown man with too many chefs in the kitchen.
