bcuz norton was a boxer not a big puncher. Ali didnt have to bomb him. Look what ali did to Foreman. Smoked 'em with 1-2's all night, darted in ONE-TWO, nearly gave him whiplash with those 1-2's. Lokk how Muhammad against the big punchers like Lyle, he smoked 'em with one big right hand cuz he knew he HAD to. Look at the leather ali threw aganst Frazier in '71. A more realistic situation is Clay bicycling around, slashing at WK with his one-two which has absolutely no effect at all on Wlad who has never felt a punch so weak before, being caught by Wladimir, as he did in practically every fight over and again by his own slower and les reachier opponents and feeling the force of shots like nothing he's ever experienced before, sending that head of his flying into the cheap seats.

Only through stinking the place out like he was in the Tour De France could Ali hope to be conscious for the 1st round bell.

since peter 2 its not really been boxing
