If David can get inside with his power he could end it. He's got those abnormal stubby arms though. He'd have to jump on Stevens right at the bell.

    You?

I agree that Lemieux has the advantage on the inside. Many people might disagree since stevens is the flavor of the month and all but I happen to think that this is an evenly matched up bout.

Whoever lands first has the major advantage.

I think Stevens takes a better punch. So I guess I'll go with him

Did Stevens' team officially turn down the GGG fight for $300,000? If so, how can anyone ever take Stevens seriously after he bad-mouthed GGG for the last few months and then turned down a fight with him for a good pay check? Perhaps they made a counter offer?

Of course they made a counter offer. That fight is going to happen. Kathy Duval said Ndam got offered the same money from GGG so they're holding out for more but I don't see how that fight doesn't get made.

That's what I still figured as well, the way that fight just came out of nowhere it had obviously been in the works. I don't see why Stevens is worth any more than Ndam mind you, unless he'll actually sell tickets here. I guess coming off that big knockout on NBC he might have a little pull, depends what Golovkin stands to make himself.

Gotcha. It just seemed with all the crap he was talking that Stevens wanted to put GGG in his place regardless of the cash, but it turned out, that wasn't the case. In any event, it's a good fight for GGG and for Stevens.

Never accept the first offer is one of the rules of negotiation. It never hurts to ask for more.

Stevens probably would have took the offer immediately Main Events know better and they are trying to maximize profit through this guy.
