Anybody who's old enough to have seen their fights? They were regarded as number 1 and number 2, respectively by Ring Magazine in one of their 2011 issues as the greatest Filipino Boxers/ Fighters of all time ( Pacquaio and Donaire, was not mentioned probably because they are still fighting).

I am curious as to how great they are as boxers. In the textbooks that we were using during my elementary years ( grade 1 to 6), they were regarded as our national pride. I grew up reading and hearing how great Elorde was.

Any take on this fighters?
