    agreed on that
I think Hatton at light welter in Manchester with Pars as ref beats Floyd. Same with Cotto at MSG.

Younger version Oscar at welterweight and Shane at light weight give pretty boy a tougher time if not beat him.
and I think you're an idiot

Castillo, Maidana, Cotto... were his closest fights. You could make arguments for all of them.
The Canelo fight, mentioned here earlier, was such a whitewash you could give him 2 wins on that one.

Yeah technically Floyd could have been DQ'd but Judah is the real one that deserved getting chucked out. He blatantly eyed up that cracking full blooded blast to the goolies, back of the head smash combo.

Same people used to rave on about Judah schooling him early doors and knocked him down because his glove grazed the canvas. All of it meaningless as Floyd adjusted to take Judah to the cleaners.
Just rewatched the fight, I can remember the whole fracas with Roger jumping in the ring now, cracking fight from Floyd though, after the 3rd he completely schooled Judah

Yes Floyd adjusted and went on to win as he did with Mosley when he got rocked in the 2nd. Say what you want about Floyd but he could adjust his style and work on a way to win which is a mark of a great fighter.

He definitely was a great fighter. Jumping up to 135 to face the best in Castillo was an impressive move. Then the immediate rematch to the dispel the questions asked after the 1st. I wish he remained on that mentality.

I know @Master ..... he was being sarcastic.

But here's DLH wanting them to fight again, but at 160. Chances of that happening are about as good as hell freezing over, but keep wishing Oscar.

Thought he lost to Castillo first time around. Maidana gave him one of his roughest and it was surreal watching him actually out jab and stun him, but Mayweather won. That's about all I have on Floyd. It's hard to believe he's only been retired for a year and a half. He should promote and talk more about his fighters on a card and less about himself.

I'd be happy with that fight. At least Canelo is a boxer. It would also give Floyd a shot at the lineal title.

Floyd has no business at 160, and already proved he can box circles around Canelo. Canelo has fought his lifetime quota of tiny fighters, the last of which was Khan. I have no desire to watch Canelo's smoke and mirrors. I'm only interested in him finally fighting a real middleweight.

Granted, I have no interest in Floyd-McGregor either. If I want that kind of entertainment, I'll go watch Ringling & Barnum.

I can only say the Castillo fight should be a loss.Cotto and Maidana came close.Floyd was very respectful and cautious with Oscar and his left hook. Those 3 still lost tho.

Does Floyd make more against Canelo or McGregor? The challenge will be greater vs Alvarez for sure but we saw how easily he dealt with him the first time. Winning the lineal middleweight title also does more for Floyd's legacy than a win over an 0-0-0 fighter would.

WOW!!!!! People still taking about Floyd making a comeback. Flomos, Haters, everyone wants to talk about him coming back. Every thread that starts about Floyd, always gets round to his "Comeback". He may fight MacGregor , he may not (Probably not imo.), but why the big fascination about it?
I respected Floyd as a fighter, obviously he used to be a bit of a prick as a guy, but I'm really not bothered about seeing him fight again. Boxing has to move on. it moved on after Ali, it moved on after Sugar Ray (Leonard and Robinson) , I think it's crazy if I'm honest.

Like I said in the OP; I thought it might drum up some conversation.
