IT ANNOYS ME THOUGH, If Haye is considering this then his comeback was clearly a farce as he has nothing in the pipeline at all that he can just drop everything for a fight against a guy in a different division.
I don't get this logic at all

if any fighter from any division fights a good world champ from the division below then that is a legitimate fight, particularly when the fighter from the higher class came from the lower division originally

plus the fight will most likely out sell all other fights barring one or two

plus its another huge plus for Britain

It is a massive mismatch that is why.

Haye has got a "BIG Announcement" coming today..... there's talk of him fighting Hughie Fury

The WBA is expected to make a ruling this week on the WBA 'super' title, which was vacated by Tyson Fury last week, while Australian Lucas Browne was granted another fight for the WBA 'regular' belt earlier this year.
Joseph Parker is the mandatory challenger for Joshua's IBF belt, but has opted to target the WBO title and reports suggest he will fight Andy Ruiz Jr as part of a four-man tournament, which could also see a potential fight between David Haye and Hughie Fury.

    Why is it a missmatch?

hayes fought twice in 4 years against low level opposition and bellew is an active very capable champion

Well had Haye continued as a heavyweight I (even though I thoroughly dislike the guy) assume he would be a top 5 top 10 heavyweight and Bellew just got done fighting BJ Flores whom absolutely nobody rates even as a cruiserweight.

I don't think for one second Haye and Hughie Fury will fight each other for many reasons.
Respect to both guys if it does happen, and to the WBO for putting the idea together.
@erics44 what the fuck have eaten? Bellew isn't even a top 5 Cruiserweight! Easy work for Haye.
Don't keep falling for all the the hype. 😄
