    Default Rain

This has been the rainiest month in Oklahoma since 1890, when they started tracking such things. The last storm began with it half inch short of the record and finished 4 inches ahead. It is raining hard now after a dry 15 or 16 hours.
When it rains it comes with high winds and hail. And, of course, tornadoes. The last one dropped a tornado 20 miles away then rolled right over where I live. Crazy rain.

Well it's all part of ANTHROPOGENIC GLOBAL WARMING! !!!!!!

You know rather than a El Niño/La Niña event or something cyclical like that.

Stay safe. It looks pretty hairy with the flooding and wind. It rained all day here, I have a feeling we're in for a pretty active hurricane season but at least down here you have this drawn out warning. In a tornado its on you in an instant!

It mostly dodged OKC today. The storms start in the Texas panhandle and generally go northeast. Today they went due east.

It is windy over here and nightmare to ride the bike. Summer has not arrived and it is May. Radiators still on. Costing me a fortune.

I want some global warming over here.

It's kinda strange how climate differs widely around the world. Here in the Phils, it's summer at its peak (May is the hottest here) and we haven't seen a rainfall for several months now. Our dams, rivers and irrigation ditches are drying up. Just imagine while you folks are being battered by rains and storms, here I am in a middle of really hot and dry summer. Wish you could send us some of those stuffs here... But well, rain and storm season starts around July so I guess we'll just have to wait a couple more months..
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.

That should be good news. I assume that Oklahoma raises a lot of cattle. We are still feeling the effects of the shortage of cattle due to several droughts in recent years which lead to a decrease in hay. As a result, the price of beef has soared.

I guess that, once the place is no longer under water, it will be good for cattle. Cows, I have learned, are unimpressed by tornadoes. Last week a tornado hit SW of OKC. It was 3/4ths of a mile wide and was on the ground a long time. Fortunately it was all in cow pastures.
The weather guy was all worked up. The cows in the field didn't even stop grazing.
