    Default Just had surgery..need advice

Just had surgey and the doctor told me i can't exercise for 4 weeks, now this is a problem for me because I have never taken such a long-lay off from training (Weights and conditioning).
Any suggestions on how I can maintain my body and levels of conditioning? (unaerobic and aerobic)

Trust me on this, its one of the most sensative areas on the body. I know you feel good but dont do nothing strenuos for weeks or you could finnish up in bed for a month like I did. I should have listened to the surgeon but didnt wish I had

Yeah that's exactly what I would have said.

Don't stress about your body losing it's conditioning.... If you're a dedicated trainer then just use this time to revise your taining program, gain motivation and really look forward to exploding back into it.

Having a month of could be a really good thing for your body because their could be other area's that may have been getting a little wear and tear or just need a bit of a rest. Drink a LOT of water and those sort of things and try to eat well during your down time and just think of it as a complete recharge...
Watch a tonne of fight movies and keep enthusiastic.

When you get back to training and your body gets that initial training shock again, it will react by getting into shape and improving perhaps even better after a few month than it would have been if you hadn't of had that month off.

Having a rest will do your body absolutely no harm...
