Cotto needs to drop the middleweight belt if he isn't a middleweight. When asked about it by Max Kellerman, he said, "do I look like a middleweight?" Well, if you aren't a middleweight and won't fight middleweights, then move back down to junior middleweight. Simple as that. Come out and say I'm not facing GGG because he's too big. Fair enough then. Fight Canelo and then Bradley and call it a day, but, drop the belts first.

If he's not willing to move up in weight, GGG should face the winner of Lemieux/N'Dam next and then follow that with the winner of Lee/BJS.

By the way @Ron Swanson, it appears Ward is moving up to the light heavyweight division with this fight where he's fighting Smith at 172. Froch has gone radio silent on the challenge of GGG. So, those ships might have sailed. There is DeGale, Abraham, Stieglitz and the winner of Jack/Groves.

Really ? What a dick move by Ward. Smith started as a MW is not a huge SMW and a pretty average one at that. Again people try and invert the situation and make it seem like Golovkin should be calling Ward out. Ward a guy who last fought Edwin Rodriquez of all people 18 months ago and has blamed his lack of fights or a sizeable following on nobody wanting to fight him. Do these guys think we are all stupid?

I agree that fighting the winner of Lemieux/N'Dam and then the winner or Lee/Saunders would be good fights for Golovkin before unifying the MW's and then fighting elsewhere. And if the Ring and the WBC could just both get on with stripping Cotto of a MW belt he has no intention of defending, that would be great too.

Boxing in this era is strange, very rare the best fighter face each other in the ring PPV networks,
promoters mangers, are now controlling the sport more than ever.
There are still good fight being made, but it could be far better GGG seems to be old school willing
to fight any one , but there does not seem to be many takers why because he good very good in fact,
and what he does is beat the crap out of his, opponents if they are lucky he KO them in a round
or two. Yep GGG is for real weather you like him or not, who is going to beat him Cotto, Canelo
IN A PIGS EYE, I have not seen anybody really trouble him lets be honest, he give them a little
hope he toys with them, then he finishes them off.
