    Default Food Addictions

I think I may be addicted to tuna and Jasmine rice with soy sauce and Thai fish sauce. I showed no restraint tonight and plowed thru 4 cans of tuna fried in onions, olive oil, soy sauce and fish sauce, with a pinch of black pepper. The total calories were not bad: 520 of tuna, and about 200 of rice, so say 750 or 800 calories.

What food addictions do you have? I think this topic was already covered in 2017, but I couldnt find it.

So do tell the secrets of your food addictions, if any.

I really like beef jerky. I don’t eat loads of it but I’m sure I could. Nuts are also great but I learned eating too much late at night does not work out well

My diets pretty clean these days for the most part, except....Peanut butter. I eat a disgusting amount of it if I have it in the house, its at the point where I avoid buying it most of the times I go shopping. Keep it in the freezer so it's nice and cold, bring it out to sit for a little bit, then cut up apples and dip them right into the jar, I'll just keep doing that until I feel sick sometimes. Also eat 4 or 5 eggs for breakfast every day religiously, but I don't see that as a problem. The peanut butter fucks with me.

yes PB can do that, as can in its place sunflower butter and Tahini. I was drinking Tahini on the Zoom yesterday. Dark Lord Al was drinking something else however.
4 to 5 eggs everyday? Thats the most I ever heard of but should be OK.

Onions. Yellow, sweet purple it doesn't matter. Basically everything baked, grilled, pan fried etc has to have them. Lately pistachios also.

Coincidence: I have 3 times this past week put a few big chunks of butter into a frying pan and when nice and hot, thrown in 2 or 3 thinly-sliced up big purple onions, fried until golden color, buttered onions, nice and delightful, goes great with crispy parantha, or roti, or naan, even on toast or bread, nice and carmellized and buttery.

I have drunk too much Thai Fish Sauce straight out of the bottle, moments ago. I had sprinkled it lavishly on 2 cans of wild tuna in olive oil, and after eating the tuna straight out of a bowl with a spoon, I then got addicted to the fish sauce and swigged a heavy amount out of the bottle.th.jpg

I have no addictions, but am a creature of habit. I will eat my same breakfast daily which is a nutrition based protein smoothie, a bunch of walnuts, and some strong dark chocolate, washed down with a cup of coffee to wake me up a bit. Quite a lot of calories, but never heavy shall I be.

walnuts and dark choc are lovely together, back and forth, the nuttiness/oiliness of walnuts then the bitter cacao-ness of the choc, and yes, coffee perfectly washes that down. exquisite breakfast, that.

I prefer/insist on grilling/frying onions. Don't like them raw, love them grilled.

When I order gyros at my fav spot at the drive thru-all I have to say is "its the grilled onion man" they say pull forward without asking me the rest!

My habits are bad, cheese cake probably the worst. If i get the small one where there are 3 kinds...I can literally eat 1/2 in a day, but I try to walk it off or go 2 weeks without it...I have no self control with cheesecake.

I will without hesitation go for the turtle over the strawberry. I like strawberries (nowhere near as much as I like mulberries, blackberries or raspberries) but the turtles seem more mouthwatering to me.
