Its easy to pick of any fighters resume, Im sure 50% of the forum members can easily downplay any fighter's resume including Pac's. But please let me say these.
1st
Let us remind ourselves that Pac doesnt have the luxury of getting any fighter that he wants (Excluding Floyd) early in his career.
He's looking to annihilate the very best.
The biggest names were big names at the time for a reason. In 2003-2004 Morales, Barrera and Marquez were not just the 3 biggest recognizable name in the featherweight division. the y were the 3 TOP DOGS in terms of everything.
-Barrera was on HOT HOT Streak that #3 p4p was the least rank you'd see him
-Morales practically schooled IBF Champ Hernandez and had a courageous but still clear victory againts WBA Champ Jesus Chavez
-Marquez scared Gainer away, That's how good he is
Pacquiao did not blow away these 3 GREAT Mexicans. He only went 1-1-1 against them.
But he did take them on in a span of 15 months. Yes just 15 months .
Its like some Cruiserweight climbing up and taking on Evander Hoylfield, Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis
or some Light welter moving up to Welterweight and taking on Mosley, Margarito and Cotto in 2007-2008.
It doesn't also hurt that after 1-1-1 he went 4-0 againts the 3 Greats .

Starting the Diaz fight. Pacquiao wasnt fighting the same way. If you have watched Pac before you would notice this. He's looking for the KO from the opening bell. In the Diaz fight he showed great composure along with the improved right hook.
and look at the last 5 fighters that he fought and totally dominated DelaHoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito. These fighters were natural Welterweights that has or had titles and was also ranked at the very TOP and here comes Pacquiao blowing them away.
We can agree to ignore the 8th title but we also have to ignore SRL 's Lightheavyweight title fought at a catch weight of 166lbs. Out the 8. Only Diaz and Margarito weren't in serious consideration for being the best of the division. While Sasakul, Barrera, Marquez and Hatton were universally recognized as the best of the division.
After retirement PAC will be ranked very very high all time.
