Default John Riel Casimero v Guillermo Rigondeaux Showtime

It was on then off and now it's back. Casimero was all geared up to unify with Donaire, acted like a 10 yr old and had some harsh words for Donaire and his wife so Nonito bailed out. Maybe that's how it went but maybe just maybe they already had that Inoue v Donaire rematch cooking up. This one could get physical and see points flying off pretty early . Rigo oh Rigo where are you and what do you have left. He won't be able to backfoot tap dance looking for the perfect single counter here and something tells me he has no intention of that. Casimero isn't hard to miss but Rigo is on the tail end of a very long ride at 40 and I just realized he's actually going down in weight for it.

Gary Antonio Russell v Emmanuel Rodriquez at 118 on the undercard. Not sure how much I'll catch of this as basically it's going off at the same time as ESPN Maloney v Franco card and possibly the Ortiz Jr v Kavaliauskas card on Dazn . Crowded night of fights, nothing Earth shattering but the way some major bouts are falling apart it's good to see top contenders and some belts at stake.

Credit where credit is due Rau'shee Warren came out like a one man wrecking crew . Scores about 3 kds and stops Vasquez in 2nd. Clean hard shots. First ko in six years..on a roll

Rigo running track and posing like he's finger painting. Casimero following and watching more than unloading. These guys need much less mutual respect and more hurt feelings. He's fortunate Donaire told him to get bent and walked. Crowd has been boooing for last 3 rounds going into the 8th.

For a late substitute trading on his name for this fight and obviously just there to pick up a cheque and stay out of trouble and being forty fucking years old he's in great shape. He can fuck off back to Cuba and never come back though after this.

I mean he's obviously been keeping in serious shape over the years. But for what exactly.

Honestly trying to remember the last time I heard such a big crowd so savagely boo every single round . They're literally telling Casimero "don't be confident" into the final round . Some confidence would have helped this fight. Just a bit. If anything Rigo has superb stamina and backfoot for 40 years old unmatched. But the hands were glued to his side tough watch someone Sad click me for starting the thread.

Guilermo Rigondeaux and John Riel Casimero break the @CompuBox record for fewest combined punches landed in a 12-round fight with 91.

Previous record was 100 combined landed punches in Mario Barrios vs. Devis Boschiero (7/9/16)"

Is this true? Didn't notice this was on so switched over to the CFL after Ortiz finished..

    Impressive stuff if so.
