Default High Rise - the new Clockwork Orange

Really enjoyed this film reminded me of Clockwork Orange

The unnerving tale of life in a modern tower block running out of control. Within the concealing walls of an elegant forty-storey tower block, the affluent tenants are hell-bent on an orgy of destruction. Cocktail parties degenerate into marauding attacks on 'enemy' floors and the once-luxurious amenities become an arena for technological mayhem...In this classic visionary tale, human society slips into violent reverse as the inhabitants of the high-rise, driven by primal urges, recreate a world ruled by the laws of the jungle.

Bit different but trailer looks decent enough. So what of the outside world, are they trapped or just isolated? Looks a metaphor for social structure..breakdown and class warfare

Just watched it all off that link cheers mate. Few questionable scenarios, but its a physiological minefield with smatterings of Lord of the Flies, Bad boy Bubby, A Clockwork orange and the cook the thief, the wife her lover and all shot just as well. The Amon Duul track during the party was great.

That's what quite a few critics have labelled it although it's not as violent but i think it's more to do with the running classical music soundtrack and the way it's filmed.
At times your thinking "What The Fuck is going on here"
Anyway i love films like this that are a million miles away from the Hollywood Blockbuster, are unique and totally Leftfield.
Crazy use of Abbas SOS in this film too and it's Portishead who did the remix of it towards the end for any music anoraks out their.
