The question should be the other way round.

Until Wilders last fight which was a massive jump in class what had he done?

In fact his last fight was a bit of a paradox. It was a massive jump in class as it was for a title but the person he faced wasn't very good. They both looked clueless at times. On the few occasions that Stiverne pressured, Wilder shut up shop. Wilder doesn't look as though he's got the tools to fight rough. He has power and speed but he doesn't look a natural fighter at all.

Perfect fight to be made right now and the winner vs Wlad on ppv. I think Wilder did decent against Stiverne and showed that he can take a punch and go 12 rounds. I'm sorry but I can't shake the fact that a blown up cruiser put Tyson on his ass and nearly pulled off an upset. Wilder by knockout in 5.

...and since then Cunningham has been put on his arse 3 times and lost a UD once, all by mediocre heavies at best.

The question is Does Fury have anyone as highly ranked as Stiverne on his record? Has he beaten the quality of fighter Povetkin has? Pianeta got absolutely slated and ridiculed for getting a shot at Wlad, but he was 28-0 , European champ and had better fighters on his resume than Fury. I don't see the difference.
Yes , Fury has talent, but for many reasons, some his own fault, some bad luck, he hasn't really beaten anyone.

The thing that has always went in furys favor is that he has always had a massive size advantage so has been hard to hit.

Those who have managed to hit him have dropped him.

Wilder lands and Fury is done for and I just don't see Fury as a big pucher.

Cunningham had Fury looking clueless when they fought. You do remember Fury sitting on his ass in the middle of the ring?
The thing is I like Fury and want to see him fight Wilder, but the mental picture I have of you with your head stuck up Fury's ass is starting to turn me against him.

No and he never will be...not for Wilder, not for any other power puncher.....else he would have fought one by now

Fury is a much better and more natural boxer than Wilder.

Yes Fury is ready for Wilder but neither are ready for Wlad. They need to fight better fighters that will test them further but I do not think there is that many there that could bridge that gap.

Can Wilder get away from Wlad's shots like how he did against Stiverne?? I dunno!?!? He looked very lubricious against Stiverne... and I think Stiverne hits harder than Wlad, even though Wlad's reach is longer.

I'm hoping we find out soon, all these different opinions are starting to make my head hurt.
No matter who wins, there are going to be plenty of disappointed boxing fans. Truthfully, I think Wlad could beat both the same week, but who knows when the big guys start throwing, anything can happen.
