Default Paulies phone call and promise of big fight?

Who do you fellas think it is?

I think its going to be Garcia. Garcia see's that massive payday with Floyd and was most likely thinking about going to 147. He needs an intro fight and Paulie a definite route. When you really think about it there really is nobody more deserving to fight Floyd at 147 or below right now then him.

My neighbours dog called Floyd out last week so there is only so much time left. I figure Floyd retires at 50 and 0 or maybe sooner. Garcia has to be looking at those sweep stakes prior to the clock running out. Again, is there a more deserving opponent for Floyd 147 or below? No there isn't. Danny wants that double digit seven figure pay day but he needs to get his feet wet first. Paulie is the shortest distance between two lines. Garcia gets a top 10 ranking at 147 for beating him and it sets up the clash with Floyd. Win/win for Garcia even if he gets smoked.

So Paulie vs Danny for the Sept spot and probably Khan for May? Now wouldn't it be interesting if Paulie beat Danny for the spot. And now Alexander is out of the equation so its getting pretty scarce for money makers. Someone better mend some bridges with Top Rank.

    I'm thinking Danny/Paulie on the Mayweather/Khan undercard.

Not a bad call, would be a bit of a joke to have Garcia on the undercard of a Khan fight and especially that one though. I totally agree that Garcia should have another fight or two at 147 before he fights Floyd, but that just highlights how worthless Khan getting the fight is, since he's never fought there either and is coming off nothing but fails.

Paulie is an ideal opponent for Garcia's first bout at 147 since dude can't punch through a wet paper bag..

    Easy fight for Garcia

it does seem like the logical fight. im saying this as a garcia fan, but i think that paulie gives him trouble. as i have said many times, garcia seems to fight down to his opponents level. i can see paulie outboxing him here and there during the fight. i think that garcia still wins it but it will be closer than most expect.

If it isn't Danny it's either Porter or Peterson.

I can see Paulie picking up some roudns for sure.

And Paulie is tough and durable so he won't be able to be blasted out with one shot like certain uber-talented glass jawed Pakistanis.

I like paulie. Shame his power is lacking but his chin is there and hes a slick boxer.

Garcia has been quiet and he needs to get three fights for next year.
