    Default RIP Shane Warne

What awful awful news. 52, heart attack apparently. Part of me was hoping it was some monumental fuck up by some junior journalist over the passing of Rod Marsh. Sadly true. Absolute giant of the game gone way too soon.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

It is shocking news and he made batsmen look stupid with his spin bowling. Gatting had no idea what was going on when he was bowled out.

Genius bowler and the English fans would sing "wish you were English" at him which is great accomplishment.

Really shocked when I saw this. Warne truly was a game changer. Before he came around , there weren’t no good Aussie spinners, especially leg spinners. Infact the only leggies came from the Sub continent.
You had him and Abdul Qadir, but the difference was Qadir was Pakistan’s main wicket taker. Warne got loads of wickets despite Australia having an incredible seam attack.
Absolutely unplayable on his day .RIP
