O.k.; vision and hearing are, well, obviously crucial to helping us live our lives to the fullest. So if you had to take one away, which would it be: sight or the ability to hear?
I ask because I'm bored and I spend alot of time on the "What are you listening to" thread. I got to thinking how music for me is so critically important to have and I honestly don't think I could cope without having the ability to hear it; or hear anything for that matter. 24/7 I have music on, and when I am unable to listen to it I get a little nuts.
Now sight is obviously important, as being able to function in any society would be so difficult without it; and not being able to see all the beautiful things in this world must be maddening, especially if one had sight and lost it due to an accident.
I know for me the one thing I truly love to do, keeping venomous reptiles, would obviously not be a viable hobby. Not only not being able to get my hands on them, but just enjoying what to me is beauty when I look at them.
I would imagine people on here that box or kickbox or any sport for that matter would be devastated from losing sight{well, except for Kid Thunder, as he couldn't possibly do any worse} JK Kid And driving is obviously out of the question, which would suck big time.
So finally after all my rambling, if anyone's gotten this far, which would you rather be without if you had to choose?
For me I'd rather be blind. It would be fun bitching about not having a menu in braille at Jack in the Box. Also I could get friends to bump me into big tittied girls and use the excuse I was blind and didn't mean to hold onto their mams to keep from falling.
Being deaf would suck, as I think I'd kill myself if I couldn't hear my music, and the wind blow, or Kathy slurping on my.....well you guys get it. Plus deaf people sound like tards and I would hate people giggling when I tried to talk.
