    Default Kovalev vs. Pascal.

    Who do you think wins?

I pick Kovalev. He's a bad match-up stylistically for Pascal. He's a volume puncher who comes at you from the opening bell, while Pascal has poor stamina. Pascal is also hittable. He'll make Pascal work every minute of every round.

Kovalev should work Pascal's body early, to wear him out sooner.

Kovalev by a UD. Pascal puts up a fight, though... entertaining 12 rounds.

Pascal is game but easy to hit, O dear I can see it ending early Pascal being KO, his style is made
    for Kovalev.

The only thing i don't like for Kovalev in this fight is that he can tend to retreat straight back on occasion. Look for Pascal and company to try and confuse Kovalev early with speed and movement. That will taper off as Pascal gasses (which is inevitable because of the way he fight and wings punches) Kovalev at that point can find him quick and get him out of there in the middle rounds.

    unless of course...

Kovalev finds him early. One of the reasons the hopkins fight was as big of a blowout as it was... was because he stepped back, countered and caught hopkins with that first shot right on the temple. That took all the wind out of hopkins sail and had him second guessing early. It was like mentally, father time tapping Bernard on the shoulder.

Hard to see anything but a Kovalev TKO/KO victory here.

    Pascal does have speed though.

Pascals best hope is to not overload himself trying to emulate Roy Jones as his new trainer. Undoubtedly they have tried to blueprint Kovalev and getting him to cross himself but Kovalev does a great job of subtle stepping with guys be it forward or back and maneuvering guys into very bad counter positions.
