    Default Tony Margarito is free!

    I just read

Sergio Diaz, Margaritos manager, agreed to an extension that is basically a year and
nine months with a year of matching rights, after that, with Top Rank.

Antonio Margarito is now free to face Paul Williams in the summer.
    June 9th or June 30th
and then take on the winner of Cotto-Judah in the fall

He'll get around $1.7 million for Williams and $ 2 mill for Cotto

I like how they are totally dismissing Judah

So what is it now Floydy fans? Who ducked who?

Floyd ducked Tony to fight some old azz man who took a belt from another old azz shot fighter in Aruturo Shatti.

How do you like them apples.

Floyd would tell us personally that he is not fighting to prove to the fans who the best is.
Man did he get that right. I have the video clip if anyone is intrested in seeing/hearing it with their own eyes and ears

All that shiet you gayboys were saying about Tony ducking Williams All that shiet you said about him and to his fans? What now?

You tried to wipe the dirt off that was left on you by your Fraud.
The fact still remains that Floyd ducked Tony. Go bury your heads in dirt.

    Isnt Floyd just great?

His biggest fall is coming May 5th and then his fans will scatter like roaches when the lights get turned on
Your days are numbered, I guess they will make new names/register

I saw Oscar get hit by one body shot and he never got back up.

So if Floyd beats him, I should be what? Declaring Floyd as the greatest man to ever lace them up? LMAO please.

Hmmm, I don't think Floyd ducked Margarito to fight Gatti, seeing that they were in 2 totally different weight classes at the time. Floyd was still at 140 when he fought Gatti.

Danny, this argument you're making is more wobbly than Miguel Cotto was against DeMarcus Corley.

Margarito's still ducking a Clottey rematch, it seems. You know, the guy who was completely dominating him until he broke his hand. . . . Margarito is a mediocre fighter. Seriously.

I also like how they're totally dismissing Williams. I think Margarito would lose to Williams, Judah, and Cotto. Not to mention Floyd.

Its also much less Margarito stepping up to the plate than it is him being forced to fight Williams in my opinion. Not saying he is afraid or anything but still I don't think this taking the fight says anything good or bad about Margarito.

    One more thing...
Antonio Margarito is now free to face Paul Williams in the summer.
    June 9th or June 30th
Does anyone know what network has this? If it's June 9, would HBO have this as part of the Cotto-Judah PPV? What an awesome card that would be, I think Soto is on that card as well.

I assume HBO would put this fight June 30 instead of loading up all the fights on one night.

LMAO. SweetPea I did not trip on the Williams thing LOL

Yes one can never be certain who is going to win.

What if both Tony and Cotto lost LOL
What if Zab can't get past his tune up LOL

Honestly, I don't see Zab as a threat.

I see Cotto, Williams, Margarito, Mosley, upcomer Berto, holding down this division.
I don't care who wins (yes Cotto for me) but I wont mind seeing these guys going at it. They would be some great fights. Oh and some one mentioned Clotey? Yes he too is da' bomb.
Tony aint ducking Clotey. Clotey will get his rematch if there is anything left of Tony after these wars.

Long Live the Welter Weight Division!

Really? I thought he was winning the unfied welterweight championship because Margaritto's belt wasn't worth a damn? Also Baldomir has faced far better competition in his two fights leading up to the match than Margaritto has over his entire career. BTW, I no idea how this deal with Margaritto and Williams has any relevance to Mayweather, and also I guarantee Margaritto would be going after Cotto if Judah wasn't already signed to fight Cotto with King backing him.
