Don't know if this tops the first one action-wise, but is probably less well-known, and a pretty good fight too.
Manassa Mauler Jack Dempsey vs The Wild Bull of the Pampas Luis Angel Firpo:
Challenger Jack Dempsey vs Champion Jess Willard:
Big George Foreman vs Ron Lyle:
I remember this as being a good fight. It involved a Philadelphian and a Canadian, so it can't be more than half bad!
15 rounds, too.
Probably the greatest come-from-behind KO in the history of Boxing that many people havent got to witness..
Real bad KOrean, Soo Hwan Hong VS Carasquilla
In Jin Chi beating on Michael BRodie like he stold something..

Chi was a tough man and brutalized Brodie in the second fight.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Whoa you guys are right. These fights are good
can never get over shock value of this fight
brutal first 3 minutes!!! how could he take it?
Hey @greynotsoold - do you have anymore fun underrated LA fights? I feel like there was an era in LA between 1970-1988 or so that I am not as familiar with as I should be.
Chacon vs Olivares, the 9 round fight, not the 2 round fight when Chacon was weight drained.
Olivares, for all his deserved reputation as a puncher, is one of the great tactical fighters, in my mind.
Good fight here...Zarate fought a lot around that part of the world. Davila trained at the same gym where I started and lived near me.
Davila was a childhood hero of mine, and he could fight. At his best, you had to beat Zarate or Wilfredo Gomez to beat him
That one is for @greynotsoold
That was at the Memorial Coliseum in LA.
The referee, George Latka, also worked the Davy Moore/Sugar Ramos fight at Dodger Stadium in which Moore was killed. He later owned a bar in Orange County, down by Huntington Beach High School (where all the girls look like Britney Spears). I was there in 1988 several times and could drive you there, but don't recall the streets. Mr Latka has since died.
