I would say Khan. At least for the most part Khan was sparked by good fighters. He also lasted against and beat Maidana. Linares seemed to get stopped by much lesser fighters on multiple occasions.

Khan’s chin is weak and vulnerable. Linares has been in with some good fighters and survived big shots at times. The only time Khan has done that, at the top level, was against Maidana.

Wasn't it more a case with Linares of him getting some bad cuts that led to stoppages? Khan's chin was even worse than you think. Even in fights where he didn't get stopped you could see him have a massive advantage in hand and foot speed for a round or two and be cruising until he got clocked and then he slowed right down and the fight turned into something much more even. Shocking punch resistance.

Linares was prone to cuts and was stopped by a body shot by Loma. So his chin is not the cause of his losses.

Tricky one at first. Actually I'd say Linares thinking on it. Linares has never taken a count or stayed on his back. If I'm remembering right Linares got up each and every time save for the Loma liver shot. Stopped on his feet or cut with Thompson. Khan just seems to get buzzed randomly throughout different levels, Julio Diaz to Maidana and holds on for dear life.

Think the cut thing with Linares is overplayed. Pretty sure only once was he stopped on cuts. But off the top of my head I can think of 9 times he was down(without counting fights being waved off as down, just when he was on the canvas)

That still leaves 4 times he was stopped not by cuts, same as Khan. And Khan fought much better fighters.
