Horrible, HORRIBLE fight bearing in mind Canelo is a 154lb, JMM was shit at 147 vs Floyd and there is no way Canelo is going to agree to a catchweight of 145.5lb or a weight around that mark.

Jmm isn't the sharp and smart boxing mind we think he is if agrees to this abuse of a legend. That or the punches are catching up....or he owes the IRS.

There's talk that if he turns down the fight, he'll be out of action until February next year. Considering he hasn't fought since fighting Katsidis last November, that's ridiculous. Especially at his age.

Well it's if he signs again with GBP. I just read that Arum offered JMM 5 million guaranteed plus a small percentage of the PPV if he decides to sign to fight Pac in November or October.

I really hope this fight doesn't happen, i would hate to see JMM take a brutal KO. While i don't think Canelo has great defense, but i just don't see JMM being effective moving up in weight. Add to that that Canelo has great power and it's a bad matchup for JMM.

I dont know anyone who would think JMM vs Canelo is a good idea. JMM lack of size and strength against mayweather was clear enough. JMM might have the better skills, experience etc but he wouldnt keep Canelo off him for 12 rounds. He would be overwhelmed and stopped and he doesnt need to lower himself to that.

Anyway canelo vs Rhodes is a completely different fight than against Hatton, he could be taking him lightly and Rhodes is no mug. Alvarez would be wise to concentrate 100% on the task at hand.
