Small Hall Shows

Just wondered how many of you supported your local boxers at the small hall shows up and down the country. Living in the Midlands I am lucky enough to have shows in Dudley, Walsall, Birmingham and Telford on a regular basis.

Nothing compares with the York Hall in Londons East End when it's packed
I go pretty regular and the place is rocking most nights...

Yeah but theres a HUGE green wooden screen blocking any view from the bar to the ring!!!
Some of the crowd fights in that venue are incredible value for money.
I just bowl about,Veersaceeeed up looking flash as f*ck with me Saddo pass round me neck getting THE BEST "yeah yeah Sex Looks' from the ring girls

Alas its no longer there,but a great venue Manor Place Baths, spent many happy nights there, watching great fights.

Every now and again. They've started having bouts on again at the Kings Hall in Stoke. Mostly real local lads but it's worth the £.

I like to think we gotta very high standard of Journalists and Photo journalists (We have as it goes) on here.

best way to learn the ropes is hands on experience definately
Saying that im used to Dj'ing in front of 300/400/500 people sometimes in Spain,Mallorca,Ibiza etc so i don't really ever get phased by anything to be honest.
Take Calzaghe for example...I just think and treated him like anyone i could meet in a club or bar who just happens to be good at what he does.
And that is all he is
Only honest nice people in the fight game are the boxers is one thing i've learned in the last 12 months for sure
