I don't think anyone buys the line about Canelo needing to grow into 160. He's well big enough, would probably beat everyone there except GGG, and there are a few guys at 154 he won't fight and would probably lose to. All the hypocrisy and everything else aside, this fight would obviously sell and increase the profile of the winner(Canelo), unfortunately it's a no brainer on the business end.

Canelo is the biggest ginger minge until he fights GGG. He should be embarrassed as much as Floyd and Manny for not making the fight earlier.

is this the same Canelo who wanted to fight GGG at 155 because he wasn't a true MW? now he is fighting Chavez at 165 lbs , Canelo is making himself look a real pussy.

True but he has been out of the ring for a while and is notorious for missing weight. I just don't see him being able to physically make the weight anymore.

I think he can make it with some help.

Odly that is the one redeeming thing that may make it a least mildly amusing. Cue Diva tantrums from both. They almost deserve each other.

Golovkin and 160 "too big" so we'll face this normally bloated Cap'n Crunch scarfing stoner who needed 170 catch weights in his last two fights

Sure. Makes perfect sense. How does this kid walk around without leaving damp spots when he sits down?

Haha Fucker will never live down walking out in his man panties stoned off his ass in that 24/7 shit. If this goes through it really does make Canelo look bad that he wouldn't face GGG.
