I think Froch has looked poor in both fights this year. He might lose a rematch with Groves, he would definitely lose a rematch with Ward. GGG should try to get him before he's lost his luster.

The implication here is that GGG needs to wait for someone like Froch to be on the decline before taking him on. I'm not sure that's fair to GGG, who thus far hasn't been given to the cherry-picking or coddling that others have. If anything, it's Froch who should probably try to cash in a big payday against GGG, before his decline continues and GGG is no longer interested.
I think the fight makes sense now. GGG is small so that will suit Froch. GGG is clearly a better boxer skill wise. Interesting fight. All depends on GGGs power at super middle
Froch would fuck GGG up majorly..
i would guess that GGG wins. i say this because GGG has decent speed and could easily find froch's chin. GGG isnt just a brawler. he is smart. he uses his jab effectively and throws hard shots when he finds an opening. also, from what i hear, he always has to spar way bigger guys because people his size cant handle the punches. im sure that his power would be fine at 168.
I didn't mean to imply that. GGG supporters have said he should wait to move up. I say he can always come back down. My implication is if he waits to move up there won't be as much glory left in a Froch fight because he's getting older and declining. GGGs record is devoid of stars, if a star will fight him he needs to take the fight. And he isn't going to fight Ward, Martinez doesn't seem interested, Froch is the guy.
Yeah get that old man froch as he is on the slide
Golovkin needs to try & clean out 160 before worrying about 168 imo. Fights with Martinez, the Barker/ Sturm winner, Quillin...
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
I have no interest in seeing this fight yet (Golovkin has business at 160) but I feel it's a bad match-up for Froch. Golovkin would take advantage of everything Froch does wrong, his terrible balance, wide open defence etc all spell for a bad night against GGG
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
Well Froch just got his ass kicked and is kinda getting up there in age. I am not sure how good GGG is because his comp has not been top tier yet but he has been destroying people. Also for people who are power puncher moving up in weight is not always to there advantage either though.
I want to see Golovkin unify the middleweight division and he is a brilliant fighter. Froch has to fight Groves otherwise he would get criticised. I could see GGG beat Froch as he is a smart fighter with a bomb of a right hand.
