Default Which result vs Rousey would hurt Floyd's legacy more?

    If he accepted the challenge..

    1) Floyd losing to Rousey via knockout or submission

    2) Floyd pummeling her on the mat and making her face bloody

An ATG man boxer up against a little girl boxer.

    It is a ridiculous thought.

It would be ridiculous and embarrassing for him to fight a girl. Its just a poor marketing attempt by Dana White. At the end of the day Vic Darchinyan was toying with her and she looked like she was going through hell. Trust me MMA fighters are aware they don't belong in the ring with boxers and boxers are aware they don't belong in the cage.

I will say this: a boxer stands a much better chance in the cage than a cage fighter in the ring.

There are snowballs flying in hell that have a better chance of existing than this farce.

Never going to happen! It's really not even worth talking about, anything you say sounds stupid.

Boxing, and Floyd in particular, are MASSIVE compared to UFC in terms of revenues and earnings.

This is the same as a Crazy Golf champion calling out Rory McIlroy or Jordan Speith. Purely a way to get in the media and draw some attention to themselves.

The prospect of Floyd Mayweather fighting a female MMA person is quite ridiculous. I'm sure she is a great athlete, but she wouldn't last long at all with him or many other male fighters.

I'm not being sexist here, as Billie Jean King could probably beat me at tennis too (!) ....... but there is a reason why just about all male athletic records are better than female ones.

I don't hear Kelly Ann Fraser calling out Usain Bolt!

Not even a boxer, an MMA fighter. Anyone who took Ronda's challenge seriously is an idiot. IMO

A lot of people don't seem to understand this.

    Retrospect is a magnificent thing.

Whilst an extremely proficient judoka (which most opponents couldn't cope with once she established the rhythm of the fight), Rousey simply has no idea what to do to avoid being hit in the face.

Take away the obvious stupidity of a 135 pound woman fighting a 147 pound man, but a truly great boxer like Mayweather would simply have splattered one-dimensional Rhonda to hospital or serious injury.

A year from now I'll bump this thread and write a couple of completely irrelevant and incomprehensible words as well.

LOL! This was back when people actually thought Ronda was going to beat up men! Getting her ass knocked out by two women certainly dampered that sentiment!

I remember Joe Rogan calling her a "once ever" athlete and saying she could beat up 50% of the men's division in UFC. What a dope!

He got carried a lil away but still, despite her last 2 defeats, she'll leave an incredible legacy behind; winnint like 12 fights within 1 minute is not a small matter, combine it to her other accomplishments in judo, the way she did pave the road for other women to be recognized as legit fighters and being paid much better than before, the print she'll leave is definitely not a little stain and if ever (IF) she can recover from her last defeat and train boxing more seriously, she could come back on the top of the game or close to it.
