Default Floyd does not have the punching power to keep pac off him

when manny pressures he's going to have to counter and counter hard and sharp and get the F out of the way. I just do not see Floyd Mayweather with the kind of punching power necessary to bother Manny Pacquiao much. Many doesn't have to worry about getting hit the way marques hit him. when he's in there against floyd And Floyd always on the back peddling lateral movement retreat will not be able to get much torque into his shots. I do believe that many will eventually catch him and knock him out but it just takes about 8 or 9 rounds

I think so too. Manny is going to have to keep up the pressure, but I don't think Floyd has it in him to keep the fight in the middle all night and in the meantime Manny is going to be landing harder and from those weird angles. I struggle to see Floyd wanting to punch with Manny and that is only going to go one way. As much as he can Floyd needs to use the jab and keep it in the middle, but with 38 year old legs, he is going to have trouble doing that against a tricky, speedster, southpaw like Manny. I have a feeling Floyd is suddenly going to look his age in this fight. He could shield it a little against Maidana, but Pac is so much faster and tricky.

floyd has never faced anything like this---what Corley, Judah, maidana, they are trash compared to Pac.

Guys like Steve Forbes and Mosley said their power is very similar.

Pac is gun shy because last time he got wild he woke up drooling so Floyd has enough power to keep him honest.

BTW Manny is the one who needs the KO power... not Floyd But Floyd will KO him, and this I promise.

We all know that Manny was unluckily knocked out by a fluke punch from JMM so anything can happen when you throw a loopy/straight right hand.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

    Exactly.

The same lucky punch that garcia used on khan...or the same punch that Martinez threw against Paul Williams.

Floyd is so evasive and defensive that it frustrates every opponent.

He has trouble with southpaws but he still wins..this particular southpaw has trouble against fighters like marquez but a prime zab Judah would own marquez.

All hype and discussion at the moment but I personally see floyd getting bored with how easy it is and taking a fake knee to get a money making rematch.

Pac is a great fighter but if it wasn't for marquez and the 5 losses (and draw) this fight would be very close to call.

Unfortunately this Bruce lee wannabee is getting a massive payday after beating a couple of lightweights in algeri and rios and the hypetrain behind him easily forget his flawed history because of the hate of money may.

I fear the timing and accuracy of Floyd may get Paquaio, but more than likely Floyd just wins a fairly close decision.

It will be thrilling early on though and Manny could drop Floyd early n even win this.

He is a supreme talent himself.

if Zab could drop floyd and 39 year old Shane almost dropped him, Manny should drop him TWICE.

in that gif that you posted there you can see that Floyd is leaning back/punching off his back foot and therefore was balanced/poised to duck that right hand counter. however Pacquiao was stupidly rushing straight in with full force when he got cold cocked by that right hand counter.

Tim Bradley (32 fights, only 12 stoppage wins) seemed to manage OK?

It's not even about power though, distance, movement, timing, angles... You know, BOXING Brock...

I know it's not all about power but you do need power sometimes at some points in a fight to keep the shark off of you. I don't think Mayweather has that and I do not think that Mayweather can run 12 rounds anymore with those rickety old legs.

Sid you read what I said Brock? Only 12 stoppages from 32 fights and Bradley managed just fine.
