Default De La Hoya stays retired

Thank goodness, I try not to be pessimistic about other people's endeavors but this had disaster written all over it.

There was no way he would come back it has been too long and he has nothing left to offer at the highest level which was where he competed.

I think he just wanted a bit of attention. People barely raise an eyebrow when they see him in a frock these days, so he went with the 'I will fight GGG' routine. How dare Oscar steal Brockton's catchphrase like that?

Shame, it would have been nice to see GGG against improved competition.

Enough people talked sense into him. Good.

DLH was an under appreciated fighter. While he was raking in million he still kept fighting the best. Sure he lost his biggest fights, but my point should ring clear: if he didn't duck the best back then, it was a testimony for his love of the sport.

That urge will never leave him, he just has to accept those urges are apart of what made him the golden boy; his genetic make up.

When I'm 65 I will look at every 20 something year old female with a look of "I can rock those panties" doesn't mean I would be able to do it literally, its just apart of my genetic makeup.
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!
