I've seen worse. I think you give the fighter the benefit of the doubt, especially late in a fight when the fighter has been busting his ass in the fight. I'm no Judah fan, but I think the doctor should've asked him if he could see clearly. The ref continues to monitor it closely, and if need be, the fight can be stopped shortly thereafter.

That's what the doctor did, asked Judah if he can still see clearly then Judah said he can't (or was it the perception of the doctor only since Team Judah claimed after the fight that he's willing to continue).

I think what you really wanted more is to let the fight continue after that initial check-up of the cut. Asking the fighter will either stop or continue the fight depending on the reply of the fighter.

Well... if the fighter is not adamant and clear that he can and wants to continue, the ref should stop the fight. Too many fighters are vague about that, only to vehemently protest once the ref has stopped the fight. Comes off kinda chickenshit if you ask me.

For me that was a terrible cut. It was in a poor position and would have only gotten worse had the fight been allowed to continue. I honestly didn't see that fight going any other way but Clottey's so it was best to let Zab live to fight another day.

I also think that Judah wanted to have the fight stopped at that point.

It doesn't appear to be bad but if he said he couldn't see then i would have to stop it.

If a fighter says they "cant see" like Judah did, then the doctor really has no discretion. Although, other fighters would say they could see no matter what: fighters who do yet know how to lose.

Judah got what and where he wanted..........out.He told The doctor that he could not see, there was no other option but to stop the fight then and there.I think Clottey was on his way to TKO'ing Judah.

OK... it looks like a red eye brow. I guess it should've been stopped regardless.

I voted for stopping it right away - that cut's in a bad spot. A few more punches on that one and Judah might have been retired whether he wanted to or not. No reason to risk it.

I thought he looked a little disappointed when they called a stop,
If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.
