When every symptom feels like the grim reaper calling. I was once invincible.
When you remembered Roger Federer winning a grand slam.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Biggest differences I think is you had to remember everyone's phone number. And if you were with your buddies and a disagreement over some fact came up, you had to agree to disagree because there was no way of looking it up unless you were in a library.
You realize only under-40 are lefty liberal snowflakes
Foreman KO'ed Frazier
When you can remember the days that pub quizzes were won by the most intelligent/soba team and not by the team with the best 4G signal
I remember being in a pub quiz and I was fucking hammered beyong all belief, I think I hadn't sorted myself out from the night before, anyways for some reason I thought it'd be a good idea to shout madonna out everytime the dude read his question, in the end he was massively pissed off with me and threatened to have me thrown out if I did it one more time, sure enough the next question was something along the lines of 'who saing the theme tune to Austin Powers the spy who shagged me' at this point the whole pub stopped and looked at me in expectation, I tried to stop myself but I couldn't, I shouted Madonna and was escorted out of the pub, the last thing I remember was everyone in there chanting ''bring him back bring him back bring him back'' they didn't let me in for 2 or 3 months after that.
the 2 or 3 months was no big deal, I had a kind of understanding with that place, they would bar me for 2 months, I'd come back in for 2 weeks then get barred again, they never barred me for life so I can't really complain
When you have to take vitamins everyday just to stay healthy I now take Vitamin D, Cod Liver Oil and B12.
