Dillian Whyte has said he wants Breazeale in September for the WBC Silver. Looks like Wilder has his next fights in line

Why? The first fight wasn't good or competitive, Stiverne is that much older, and didn't even fight once last year. Couldn't care less about this one and the WBC should take some of the flack for making it a mandatory defense. I realize Stiverne and Wilder both had their time wasted by Povetkin over drugs and all, but there is nothing that doesn't suck about this. Yeesh.

A proper eliminator should have been scheduled but that would leave Wilder with another voluntary.

To me that's in the same neighborhood as the unnecessary Briggs and Oquendo. Be interesting to see if Wilder abides to keep a trinket or aim and try for bigger more competitive competition. Especially after barking for it Saturday. Then again he's obviously done going forward or improving so why not go backwards. Lemme guess..once again in AlabamaPointless.

It fills in the time till they can make a massive PPV fight with somebody who he can easily beat. The WBC make sure their eventually huge santioning fee stays intact.
