Have a look at whats headed our way .

Havent seen a low pressure that low @ 955 for a long time.

Its already breaking at all the more protected coves around here at 3 to 4 feet today.

Tomorrows is Wednesday it will be bigger then.

But Thursday Friday Saturday look to be more intense so Big Wednesday is about to be rubbed from the annuals. Freaky Friday and Shit yourself Saturday looks to be on the cards.

Its a shame the main comp starts on the weekend and they cant bring it forward a few a days :-(

Its on now I think, but they are the preliminary events.

The weekend will probably start dropping.

    @Andre

Wasnt it Bells beach where Patrick Swayze went to die in Point Break?

edit: just looked it up, it was, but it wasnt. Thats where he said he was going but it wasnt filmed there apparently.

Yeah he said that, but it wasnt

    Bells looks like this..

This morning at Bells 3/4/12 with the swell starting to build.

    For Whom The Bell Tolls

That dude on the beach gives you an idea of wave size, it'll be three times this by Thursday evening and more the next day if the out at sea storm doesnt weaken too much as it nears us.

No Its never got bigger than Waimea, never will, different arena completly, Bells is in a shallow bight (about 18 fathoms or 30 meters deep), not facing a raw deep ocean like the north shore.

But this much more evil wave down here will be even bigger than this in a couple of days time.

Me , I will be surfing quality head high barrels at a semi secret location in a wetsuit dress

    Why not @Fenster ?

Weather isnt too bad down south here its right in the middle zone we are very lucky green rolling hills uncrowded beaches off season and no snow ever.

Todays 22 no clouds not much wind ,not much work either at the moment, but you cant have everything .

Lands cheap the further south you go, check out Flinders island mate, it'll blow you away its a fishing paradise great pub and cool climate you get a little farm on 10+ acres for 250 thousand pounds with no stretch. Inland here is the same if you dont mind being away from the beaches and near rivers or lakes instead .

    Cities are expensive though.

Check this bargain out ...Id go tomorrow and grow food and run cattle and fish and surf all day long, the misses isnt keen though.
