Banks and Stevenson already going to plan b, in going to the body to bring Williams gaurd down . Williams will war himself out winging heavy like that.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Wow. Both cashing out for some brutal inside exchanges. Fun TV! It's sapping Williams quick though

Stevenson with a nut shot. Shocked

4 rounds of wild entertainment there. The body shots set everything up.

Fun while it lasted, seems like Williams is only dangerous when he leaves himself hanging out to get chinned, kind of surprised Stevenson didn't try and box more than he did. Still, he's vulnerable and 39 now, and nobody should give him much chance against Kovalev or Ward imo. Beterbiev fights out of montreal and has kind of lost momentum, think he was injured and I didn't see his last fight. Hope that's one that could get made.

Good fight but I wish that Williams could have pulled it out. Oh well. Stevenson will never fight the best in the division and will eventually lose to someone random.

I hope he does face Kov/Ward winner next.

My guess is he's more likely to face Ward than Kovalev. He'll lose, regardless, but I imagine he figures..... better to be outboxed by a recognized boxing master than to suffer the same fate Williams did against him.

I would love for kovalev to destroy Stevenson but don't want him to get the money that he would be getting for that fight. He doesn't deserve it

Oh, 2nd round on I was rooting for Williams!
Obvious he is one dimensional. But was catching Adonis with stupid shots. Way too much celebration, like he best a top fighter.

But he did embrace Williams with props. One punch wonder , fortunate man, not super.

I like ESPN fighters and have watched him on the show and grow as a fighter. He was shaken in the first round. In the 2nd he wobbled Adonis and I have to say Stevenson has a very good chin. Kov will not beat Adonis easy.

In the 3rd and 4th it seems Thomas lost his composure with the cuts. He put up a good show and should be proud of his effort.
