Yeah a great talent indeed, he was actually preparing to go on tour with willie Nelson.
I never could get 100% into his strain of outlaw country, people like haggard, Nelson and jennings always just seemed a little wishy washy, for me the real outlaw movement was Guy Clark, Steve Young, Steve Earle and of course the best of them all Townes Van Zandt.
