On Steven A Smith's show Quite Frankly...Leila said her people have been calling Wolf's people to set up a fight in November.....Leila state that she is calling out Wolf.....Stating that Wolf is smaller and has already been KO'd by a girl (Valerie Mahfood) that Leila has already KO'd....She say's she is walking around at 180lbs and is naturally bigger in height and physicality.....I think Wolf is in for a beating...opinions anyone

Leila Ali is better IMO, if only she actually boxed instead of mixed it up all the time.

The fact of the matter is this. Women's boxing just isn't a big deal. It never was. Leila Ali is the best because she's the only one that brings it. It's not her daddy's name that allow's her to kick other women's @sses. It's the fact that many women just don't participate in women's boxing. I saw in People Magazine that she's already a milllionare. More power to her.

It's growing....you rarely see an amateur boxing venue without women's bouts.....they are becoming a little more commonplace and some are actually good fighters.....Ali is one of them....

Please. Ali beat EVERYONE. EVERYONE. He beat EVERYONE. There is not one premeir fighter of his era whom he didn't beat so that's BS. He wasn't overrated. I can't stress it enough, in the absolute golden age of the heavyweight era, he beat EVERYONE. Moore, Liston twice, Patterson twive, Chuvalo twice, Terrell, Bonavena, Quarry twice, Foster, Frazier twice, Foreman, Lyle, Norton twice, Wepner, Mathis; the list is absolutely mind boggling. It really is. Maybe you hate his icon status but a lot of that has to do with him outside the ring. He and SRR are a toss up for 1,2 at best P4P all time imo. And I know that P4P was designed to take heavyweights out of the equation, but skill and opponents he ranks up with the best of them.

Please tell me how he was overrated? And don't give me that "SRR was better". That's not an excuse. You can't hold that against Ali, besides, a good portion of the talk about him stems from his out of the ring actions and politics. It's so easy to call someone who is talked about constantly overrated, but there are certain cases where it just doesn't apply. With Ali, it just doesn't apply imo.

And that is the biggest detractor of the women's game, the sport is a mans sport and the focus will always revolve around them. I didn't even realize I was posting in this thread until I read the title. Womens boxing is a LONG way from being anywhere near established imo. I mean I don't even think there are 1,000 pros out there.
