Default He's not coming back: not after that performance

    Peter Quillen
    James Kirkland
    Manny Pacquiao

If these guys are spoon fed a can of tomatoes , they'll look ok.
They will never beat a top tier fighter

    EVER.

Pacquiao - no compelling reason to, however it all smells.
Kirkland & Quillen - I think we will see them again.

I do see all of them all beating many of the perceived top class. Kind of sounds like your pissed at the performances?

Yea, I think they will all fight again, but if you mean not at the level we are used to in Pacs case, or that some expected them to reach in Quillins, I think that's fair.
Manny could still well beat anyone at 147 not named Floyd, he could lose to a few as well of course and I highly doubt he will take on someone like Thurman or Brook.

Quillin doesn't have the craft to be an elite guy, but he can punch and still has time and options to build himself back up. He has no chance against GGG imo, but could still get in the mix, maybe even be CAneos first opponent at 160 if he doesn't want the Kazakh either.

Kirkland should retire though, no doubt.

Not even Ann Wolfe can help him at this point?
Pac imo is in the blueprint scenario.
From Juan, Floyd & to a degree even Tim has set the blueprint: don't stand in the pocket.
    Have lateral movement.
    With that being said @147?
Pac beats Kell in what fashion?
    Thurman in what fashion?
Maodana would be a good fight, but i could see Pac getting old and could lose that. Not a young Pac any more.
Anthony Dirrell is still viable but he won't beat any elite fighter.

Kirkland could win some TV friendly fights, it's not a deep division but he's not going to be a title contender.
Brook and THurman have yet to fight anyone nearly as good as Pacquiao, they aren't defensive masterminds and other much lesser guys have gotten to them. They are both very good, and big welters on the upside, those would be pick ems to me still though. As I said highly doubt PAc or his team take either on.
Andre Dirrell is still much better than his bro imo, he and DeGale is a very good pick em fight as well.

    Agreed.

2002-2012 version of Pac annihilates Thurman and Brook.
    But

I think the changing of the guard is occurring.
    Pac & PBF.
    Froch @SMW
MW, SMW & LHW are changing the guards.
Crawford and it seems welter is changing in landscape.
    Most veterans can't walk away.
Will Pac know when it's time?

The older a fighter gets the more prone they are to injury.
I am sure a young Pac fights through injuries better than the current version.
That's why I think Pac on an elite level is done.

I think Kirkland has gone as far as he is going to be honest and will only take further damage when sold for his "explosive style". I sold my stock in Quillin last out. I think he doesn't know who or what he is and blew an opportunity to own a showcase. Manny may be a bit of both worlds after surgery...and laying a total dud. Losing event like that on top of wear and tear may just leave him guessing. No doubt he will have the opportunity again and even with his arm in a sling he probably still have enough to beat the tune up our of a Algieri or bloated bag like Rios.

Kirkland is an enigma. We probably haven't seen the last of him. I've always enjoyed watching him but have always been puzzled by his actions which I'm sure most of us are. Quillen I've also always liked, in his case I hope we haven't seen the last of him. Pac of course has had a world class career. Amongst the greatest athletes to grace any sport. I hope he makes the right decision regarding his career. If it is time to go, I hope he does so gracefully. Getting old in the boxing ring isn't like getting old in a baseball diamond when you can't hit or field like you once did. Getting old in the ring can be seriously dangerous.

All 3 will come back but only Quillin will come back better.

    LMAO!

    Good one, Slim.

But stick to your guns. At least with Kirkland and Pacquiao. They're done at the top level.
Kirkland a looong time ago. Pacquiao off his recent lackluster performances.

I think you are wrong about all three. Kirkland will be allowed to fight as long as he wants. Manny will fight once more, but probably more. Quillen is nowhere close to being done. I hope I'm wrong about Kirkland and Manny.
