Default Julio Cesar Chavez vs Adrian Arreola

To the best of my knowledge, this was the first time Chavez fought in the US. Arreola was a pretty good fighter at the time and many felt that he won this fight. It was shortly thereafter that Chavez won his first world title vs Azabache Martinez. @Spicoli

Nice find bud. Haven't seen much pre Martinez but Chavez was a different animal around 130. Spring in the footwork and early signs of that sharp rifled right hand. Probably one of the more accurate punchers of an era. Fun scrap. Took turns badly stunning each other in 1st and 2nd

There is a youtube channel from Dragoljub Radovic that has a ton of the 'keep busy' fights from the career of Chavez. Freaking gold mine.

Good find! Not seem earlier footage of Julio Cesar Chavez.

Adrian Arreola caught JCC Superstar in the 2nd round with a left and right hand causing him to stumble but other than that Chavez was in control.

Arreola did well to go to points because looking at Chavez record he was fighting every 2 months and stopping all his opponents at that time including Roger Mayweather when he had already become a world champion.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
