    Default "Slickest" Non-American Boxers

Nicolino Locche, Prince Naseem Hamed, Ken Buchanan (maybe?) come to mind. Who are other "slick" non-american boxers? I guess I define "slick" as meaning a defensive fighter who rarely is hit, gives lots of angles, slips punches, ducks punches etc.

Lennox Lewis was slick for a HW, his philosophy of hit without being hit fits the bill.

Anthony Small before he became a crazed shoe bomber wannabe used to always impress me with his slickness. Was very Mayweather esque.

David Haye to a degree, although he lost all credibility with his farce fights. But was still slick in the ring.

Roberto Duran is probably the slickest aggressive fighter i've seen.

Herol Graham, Joel Casamayor, also come to mind.

Duran is a great call, mostly due to his being an offensive fighter I think how fluid he was is really overlooked.

Guzman is probably the best name that hasn't been mentioned Mick, good one. For whatever reason that kind of style is far more prevelant with African American fighters than black fighters from elsewhere, must be a combination of things.

Out of the people named above, which were known to be aggressive-slick fighters as opposed to defensive-slick fighters? Or would you say "slick" is always a defensive style?

I would say Lopez, Napoles, Benitez & Camacho can be classified as offensive slick fighters...
    Slick is not necessairly defensive.
