Bradley Skeete Controversy

On the under card of the Yarde v Arthur contest was a fight between the young undefeated hot prospect, house fighter Hamzah Sheeraz vs an old, past his best Bradley Skeete.

Skeete boxed the ears off Sheeraz and was going on to win the bout but got illegally hit 3 times when he was down. It is at the start of the attached video.

The Board have accepted the referee version and it looks like the decision will stand. Warren has offered a rematch in February.

Skeete is saying that Hamzah should have been disqualified, suspended and that he could have been seriously injured if no action is taken. Hamzah has done this before.

He's very clearly down for the last punch and the lunches weren't super fast either, major incompetence or straight up cheating from the other fellow, either way it's a dq I think.

The only reason Sheeraz didn't connect with a 3rd shot on the kneeling Skeete is that the 2nd shot drove Skeete backward into the ropes. But it was a right and a left delivered when Skeete was clearly down on one knee.

Boxing should have the mechanism to go back, review the video clip, and reverse the decision... handing Sheeraz a DQ loss.

How much time did the ref give him to recover? Any way you figure it if the guy fights on it isn’t a DQ.
