    Default Should Maidana return...

Made loads of money and seems to enjoy living life to the full after mayweather lottery ticket..should he return?

He could have lots of other big money fights against khan, thurman and bradley...is it worth it?

    Can he still make 147.?

I hope he does, but he is set after two fights with Floyd. Let's see.

Being away from your family sucks.
    Boxing camps aren't fun.
    Weight cuts are nasty.
He is probably ready to trade up for a new tractor.

I don't think he is coming back!

I get the same impression. In interviews I've seen he seems to be enjoying what he's doing but if he has the heart of a fighter he might be back.

It would be cool if he didn't, great story he has and unlikely to do anything to better it. I know I felt at one point he'd been shown up as a limited slugger, and he was looking shopworn to boot. The guy revamped himself and showed some great form/skills in spanking Broner and finally giving Floyd a fight, made a bunch of cash in the process, then went out on his own. If he's just been enjoying life and getting fat for a few years, it's probably not good idea to try and get back in the mix. If he just wants a fright or two for the sake of it, by all means.

In a way I hope he doesn't come back. It's nice to have a boxer that walks away, has his money and brain intact, and gets on with life without too many regrets. If he is driving tractors, then that is fantastic.

Only if its at 147 and he gives himself the best chances of success. He's got the noteritity and makes for exciting fan friendly fights. It's understated how well he did to add a few gears and find a very solid hurting jab. Any fighter who bloodies Mayweather and has him acting near panicked in the corner gets my support . He earned the lottery and unlike most guys he waited until after he was out if the ring to get fat.

I'd like to see him return, there are a ton of fun fights to be made and plenty of money still on the table. But he doesn't need to.

How heavy is he now? Golovkin needs an opponent... jk

Kept Floyd on the ropes too, in the first fight, which was fun to watch. He had Floyd on rubber legs at the end of of one round. Can't remember which fight and was probably more about Floyd letting down his guard because it was the end of the round.
Their first fight was great and their second fight was as good or better than his last two fights. IMO, of course!

Maidana caught floyd with a superb counter at the end of that round.

Floyd even acknowledged this in the post showtime episode when he watched the fight replay.

Floyd knows inside he is slipping with every fight..why bother anymore.

    Fight garcia and walk away..50-0

Maidana was a second rate fighter who exposed Broner and therefore got a shot at a shot Floyd.

Just be thankful he was in the right place at the right time and can retire comfortably on his tractor.

There is not much he can do to improve his legacy and he has money now so most likely not. I heard someone say Cotto fight which might be good way to make some money has a good chance to take it. Cotto can still box well he did show that in his fight with Canelo.
