3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Star Wars Force awakens was just homage to the the franchise and they are milking it with the same story line on repeat.

OK
The revenant - Fucking brilliant film, for as good as Leo was I thought Tom Hardy was even better - 9-10
The Hateful 8 - agin brilliant, for as good as Sam Jackson was I thought Kurt Russell was even better, I switched it off and thought 'yeah that was ok I suppose' after a few hours I was thinking 'that was fucking brilliant' I do still think Tarantino is suffering massively from swallowing himself up his own arsehole, his films have become so Tarantinoesque that even Tarantino can't pull them off, too much snazzy music, witty dialogue, cool music and B movie gore, still a great film though 8.5-10
Green Inferno - I fucking loved this film, yeah it was shit, it was an 80's throwback filled with torture porn and a weak story line, I gotta say though that is why I like Eli Roth, he flys the flag for the old genre, his films are shit and they are made on a budget but you can tell he loves what he is doing, for as much as I enjoyed it I can't rate it too high (p.s. probably dont watch this if you are squeamish - 6.5-10
Legend - Hardy knocked it out of the park again, I'd heard quite a few people say that they preferred the Kemp version but I disagree, Hardy brings the comedy with one brother and the reality with the other, the music suited the film and the action seen where Hardy fights Hardy was great 7.5-10
Creed - only watched it to see how bad Bellew was in it, had to switch it off when I heard Bellew speaking in it 0-10 (yeah I know I need to watch it properly but that is my current score)
True grit - the original version was on this morning, fucking brilliant, not much more to be said - 9-10
Skyfall - never watched it before, watched it last night, it was good but I can't help but feel that Craig blew his load with Casino Royale, every bond he does will be compared to that and I doubt that Craig can top it - 6.5-10
I'm sure I'm missing a film or two that I've watched in the last week or so but I can't remember them now
Oh Antman
never my fave comic book character, I've seen all the other Marvel films at the cinema cuz I'm a massive geek, Ant-Man seemed like a bit of a cash in though 'hey lets take a character who is pretty shite and make a $1000,0000,0000 out of it' I have to say I quite enjoyed it but I still feel like they are sucking the life out of the comics I loved as a child and regurgitating them in a way that 5 year olds can enjoy, no mention of the original ant man being a beit of a psycho cunt with split personalities who systematically abused his wife, he was just sad old Michael Douglas - 5.5 - 10
Oh well lets hope Deadpool can knock it out of the park, thats the film I'm looking forward to in 2016
Star Wars. I enjoyed it, never really watched the originals so no preconceptions, no hang ups. Witty in parts, good action, cunts were gasping when whatshisface died.
Daddy's Home. Ferrell and Wahlberg are a good double act, some genuinely funny bits. Velma from Scooby Doo is hot as fuck. Some prick applauded throughout the film which was weird. Turns out we kinda knew the guy and his Mrs and they bought one another cinema passes for Crimbo and were on a proper mad one Watched 4 or 5 films in the day and were straight in to watch another after Daddy's Home. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt as they were clearly fatigued, the line between great film and OK family fun with a few giggles was a bit skewed.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
Yeah enjoyed Legend. Tom Hardy aside - The soundtrack was great. Emily Browning's accent was outstanding and I just might have to visit Enugu.
Bit of a shit ending though. Not much better than the Kemp version if at all.

Good work Barry Norman @Batman
Casino Royale was an excellent movie but I think Sky Fall was even better.
Iron Man 3 was funny.

Funnily enough @Master I've never wanted to see that movie.
My issue is that I believe they'd use filming techniques and trickery for most of it rather than stay true to tradition methods.
But you have sorta made me wanna see it to check now.
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.

Watched Hole which was horror film which I did not enjoy, too predictable for me.

Watched green inferno as I like horror but very disappointed with it. Did see hunger games mocking Jay pt 1, not a big follower of the series but it was decent. I do have interstellar to watch this eve, review to follow.
Saw The Revenant this weekend and liked it. The bear scene was awesome. Scary.... it was just like being there. Speaking to a friend of mine who was comparing it to The Martian in terms of quality. Personally, I liked The Martian better... but was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this movie. DeCaprio outdoes himself.
Crossing Over was a good film telling the story of a number of characters working and having issues with immigrantion. There are different nationalities struggling to achieve legal status in Los Angeles. The film deals with the border, document fraud, the asylum and green card process, work-site enforcement, naturalization, the office of counter terrorism and the clash of cultures.
The Aussie actress played by Alice Sophia Eve sleeps with Ray Liotta for a green card. She has amazing racks and great body. Very talented actress that caught my eye.
