I know it's been a few days but what does everyone think about it? It's been big national news.
Penn State, where young boys come in as tight ends and leave as wide receivers.

Pretty shameful and disgusting event. It will be a decade or more before Penn State recovers both as an institution and as a athletic department. I'm not going to vilify Joe Pa. He ran it up the flag pole but clearly should have taken further steps when nothing serious was done about it. Seems clearly a generational thing with him. This type of scandal would never have been publicized a few decades ago.
Most bad government has grown out of too much government. Thomas Jefferson
I don't blame Joe Pa, but I did wish he did more. It was pretty horrible that a university would worry more about it's rep than kids. You got a lot of people mighty piss off. I think this could be the worst scandal in sports. Most sports scandals are about fix games or something like that or players taking money/gifts in college. Here it's child molestation.
I'll post my joke here too....
If an old woman who likes young men is called a "cougar" then does this mean an old man who likes young boys is now called a "Nittney Lion"
......But abuse IS horrible
That is sad remember SRL said he was abused too.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
It would be interesting to see who knew what when. Obviously Paterno did but I'm totally convinced everyone on that coaching staff knew. How could they not?
His retirement in 1999 (after the first accusation in 199 is sketchy too.
I believe this was suppose to be Paterno's last year of coaching, too bad he wasn't able to retire before the shit hit the fan. It's sad to see him go out the way he did, basically in disgrace.
Why wouldn't you wade into the shower and belt the daylights out of that prick and save the young kid? If you saw it going down ( well up as the case may be) I cant see how you could just turn walk away from a little kid coping it like that?
