Default Sergey Kovalev vs. Jean Pascal II

    On HBO January 30.

The first fight was exciting, I expect more of the same in this one.

There has been talk of Kovalev-Stevenson and Kovalev-Ward. But Sergey shouldn't overlook Pascal, he's the former linear light heavyweight champion and will have home advantage.

Big truck coming for Pascal. Again. Stevenson doesn't any of that its pretty obvious.

I think kovalev takes him out earlier this time unless Pascal tries to just survive. Psychologically, it takes a toll on you once you have been stopped and know that it's possible. Kovalev won't let Pascal have his moments like he did in the first fight. I'm excited for this fight because I really like kovalev, but I don't like the rematch because it had such a clear winner.

Haymon is praying that somehow Pascal pulls a rabbit out of the hat. Not sure how long he can play these games of charades. Maybe he should make Stevenson and Thurman roommates since they both work part time.

I'll be cheering my ass off for Pascal. Its not out of the question. Some of these Russians might go a little soft like the Cubans over times soaking up all this craziness.

Yes Kovalev should stop him earlier, but credit to pascal for having the balls to want this rematch. Crazy baatard.

Don't think a rematch was needed. Pascal is hard-as-nails and fights when hurt, but overrall it was a onesided hiding he got last time.

Pascal's last opponent, Yuniesky Gonzales, deserved this fight against Kovalev over Pascal.

Effin robbery that it was against Pascal. Hopefully Gonzales gets his shot at someone for something...

    Maybe Gonzalez-Ward?

Looks like Ward-Barrera may not happen, so perhaps Ward needs an opponent.

What happened with Barrera-Ward? Thought was close to done deal. Gonzalez is even further back after losing close to unranked Shabranskyy few weeks ago.

Ward probably wants a catch weight cause there's nothing like giving a no hoper no hope.

You serious with another CW? If that's the case this guy is a cemented fraud! Barrera is solid for a true lt hvy jump, but seriously over Wards con job.

It's the money that makes the big balls, me thinks!

I thought Gonzales deserved to beat pascal but he lost again after pascal so I'm not sure he deserves it

That may well be but the money cant seem to convince Adonis Stevenson to fight Kovalev. Pascal is more desperate though and not in such a lofty position.
