Default The Wilder/Arreola fight should have been on HBO/Showtime!

I dunno, man!?! Maybe Wilder is getting more money from local circuit TV. But his fights sure seem to be good enough for HBO/Showtime.

One of the commentators said during the fight last night that "Wilder is still in the learning phase".... WTH?!?! He IS the champion, man. What "learning" phase?! Not even Anthony Joshua can say he is in the learning phase anymore.

I guess in some way, shape or form, we are going to see a fight- or a mixture of fights- with these four TOP HW's:

    Wilder
    Fury
    Joshua
    Povetkin

Throw in Wladimir and Luis Ortiz, and we can make it a six-way. But, neither should take another fight until they fight each other. Joseph Parker does not come before any of the fighters on this list, Joshua team.

Kudos to Wlad and Fury for fighting again. Fury will win, but thank God they want to fight!

Wilder stated he liked fighting on regular TV, his first PBC. Good.

Not everybody can afford cable. I can, but don't want it.

I guess it is a long term marketing strategy. I hope it works out for him with regard to endorsements.

Forget HBO and Showtime, bring boxing to the fans and mainstream national TV.

Like to think of HBO as a stage for competitive match ups. Though half the time it's just a stage for a heavy favourite vs Johhny Someguy. Prime time network gives great exposure.

It is good to fight on regular television because you get more exposure and more people talking at the water cooler.
