    Default Royal Welsh Show

I'm off to the Royal Welsh Show, tomorrow morning for the day it's about 73 miles from my house,
all the game fairs and country shows I've been to, I have never been to this one.
I have been meaning to go, for years my wife and I this will be a first, looks like the weather will be with us, it should be a good day out.

Are you retired because you do go out and about a lot which is what I want to do when I retire.

    Have a great day mate.

No I would love to be retired, it's the wife's birthday so it calls for a day out.

With all that livestock and that I bet the burger was a bit spesh though. We went to a friend's for a Barbie at the weekend, and her old man who was a farmer brought some home made burgers. 90 odd percent beef from a bull of his who got his head stuck in pen or railings or something. They had to shoot the poor bugger and chop ees head off. Couldn't sell the meat because he wasn't killed on the tiled floor of an abattoir. He made loads of tasty burgers tho.

You sure you are not a millionaire. Only they would be so tight with their money.

A small bottle of water was £1.50, I could feel my arms going shorter, and my pockets deeper.

I knew you'd have something to do with a thread about the Royal Welsh Dia Bando!

Town's been really quiet this week with everyone over at the show enjoying the sunshine and eating some decent food...although overpriced. Between the school hols and the show it's taken a good five minutes off my journey to work with the reduction in traffic!

Never been to the show myself, but Mam goes every year, and one of our family friends wins some of the cooking competitions regularly.

Superheavy and the other welsh saddo boys must be proud of Bellamy and Giggs yesterday?

The Devon and Cornwall county shows are great because of the atmosphere and everyone being related to each other, including some of the prettier livestock:-P
