Joe Calzaghe, Danny Williams, Matt Skelton, Enzo Maccarinelli and Amir Khan will now all fight on the same mega bill on July 8, it was announced at a press conference today.
In a card to leave fight-fans drooling, WBO/IBF super-middleweight king Calzaghe will headline the show in the first defence of his combined titles.
And chief support will see Commonwealth heavyweight champion Williams tackle Skelton in a much-anticipated rematch of their February 25 fight which ended in a controversial split decision win for Williams.
Elsewhere Maccarinelli is likely to challenge for the interim WBO cruiserweight title, having been denied a tilt at the full belt when champion Johnny Nelson was injured in the spring.
Nelson has still not recovered from a serious knee injury, so as number one contender, Maccarinelli gets his shot at the interim crown.
Olympic sensation Amir Khan will take part in his eighth professional contest to complete a productive year, which saw him start with a win in Bolton against David Bailey.
The card will be shown live on prime time ITV on the eve of the World Cup Final, giving Calzaghe huge exposure.
His defining fight with Jeff Lacy in March drew an unprecedented audience despite its 2am start time, but now Calzaghe could be in a position to fight in front of an eight-figure audience and set a new high for boxing on ITV.
The announcement came after promoter Frank Warren decided to combine two cards scheduled for July.
Calzaghe had always been down to fight on July 8 alongside Maccarinelli, with the Skelton-Williams fight set for the following week.
"I love putting on big shows, and this is definitely a big one," added Warren. "There's a real buzz around boxing at the moment, especially after Joe's terrific performance against Lacy, and this card should be a cracker.
