It's just amazing how his power stuck around I mean 20 years ago George was 10 years past his best and could STILL KO pretty much anyone.

Take into account that Tyson (who got out of his prime in 1990) 10 years after he was out of his prime he couldn't KO anyone. Lewis never got 10 years out of his prime but I'm sure his power would stick too but not like Big George

The Heaviest handed Heavyweight (say that quickly three times ), is Frank Bruno, no one, not even George Foreman, had as heavier hands as him, in the last 20 years IMO.

Tyson, Lewis and I think Ruddock, are fighting it out for the most powerful punch, but that is different, as they got their power though timing and technique, whilst Bruno relied more on being heavy handed, and it showed, because his power never quite got him the success at the very top of the division.

I agree that Lewis was the better "boxer" but the power punch of Foreman is HANDS DOWN the best in all of boxing ALL-TIME.

I went with Tyson because of his physical supperiority. I remember seeing a program on TV, talking about why Mike hit so hard, and yes alot of it was his technique, killer instinct and all that jazz. But being only what 5'10 or 5'11, he had the arm span of a guy who was 6'5 give or take. That played a huge role in why Mike did what he did.

Id agree with you BritKid. The man was pure power, not much else, but he was power. And if ever a boxer couldve entered Mr Olympia it would of been Bruno.

Funny you should bring bruno up,Talking to the sparring partners in camp.Every one to a man whod sparred with all the top guys including Tyson and Foreman.Told me Bruno hit the hardest and they were always uneasy, when sparring with him.And said he paid top dollar.

I gotta go with Bowe and Mercer. They both decked Holyfield. Do you know how hard that was when he was in his prime? Even Foreman and Tyson couldn't do that.

Remember the uppercut Bowe landed on Evander? Boom!!
