Default Ruslan Chagaev - why does not he step up in level?

Ruslan Chagaev, W 20 (16 KOs), 1 draw due to a Calloway cut caused by headbutt (he knocked out Calloway in Jan this year). As an amateur he won Felix Savon, the true Cubian legend, and became the World Champion. It seems like the guy has a great potential, but why does not he step up in level of competition? Should he move to the USA, just like Ibragimov brothers did? He is not that old (2, but that young to wait too long either.

Nobody cares? I came across this name when I studied biography of Felix Savon, the 3 times Olympic champion and I was very curious to see how this guy progresses in professionals.

    This guy has awesome power.

I have seen him fight a couple of times.
Here is another heavyweight( like the Ibragimovs) who has a ton of amateur fights.

At least in his last fight he fought an undefeated fighter in Vlad Virchis. Althought he didn't knock VIrchis out, he still won. Now I think that we will see him step up.

Virchis is really a hard strong fighter but with low boxing skills . . . I wish that Virchis will win but Chagaev won my a hard MD . . .

Chagaev is good boxer and his nick name is The White Tyson but i cant see at all a power of Tyson on him . . . I dont KO even old Sherman Williams . . .

And he fough VS Savon when pls and where ? ? ?

I think Vlad Virchis was a good step up.

Fight with Sherman Williams was only 8 rounds (do not know why) and yes, probably, Ruslan should have ko'd him. But probably, Sherman has got a hell of chin, as he was not knocked out in his career (it should be noted that, however, that he never met top punchers either).
