No it cuts your ankles, use elastic rope,its a very good way to improve footwork.

it mostly helps u to skip around the ring w/ your feet still planted under you ....its pretty good for almost every style though
yes but make sure its proper length. Like i said a boxing stance shouldnt be much wider than your shoulders so the rope is for people that have that habit of getting too wideOriginally Posted by cringer
Theres a far better way of doing it, as far as balance. speed and coardanation is concerned put elastic rope round red and blue ringpost. tie them round your feet while in the middle of the ring. Now move round the ring side to side back and forward, Its not easy, but will in time give you ,very good movement. We call it The Four Colour Map Theorey, Interesting
